Product description
The Standard Accuracy Pressure Transducer (SAPT) and the High Accuracy Pressure Transducer (HAPT) are piezo-resistive principle based, fully ESA qualified, pressure-gauging components, for gaseous or liquid media.
Abbreviated functional explanation
The Pressure Transducer (PT) consists of a pressure-sensing element and a dedicated set of electronics, integrated into one compact design. The fully seal welded sensor housing construction is optimised to enable a generic design for pressure ranges from 1 to 1000 bar.
Missions
The PT is designed for pressure gauging in various spacecraft chemical subsystems, cold gas micro-propulsion or feed systems for electric propulsion and for atmospheric sensors.
The PT has been used in scientific spacecraft such as Rosetta, GOCE and Planck, and in commercial spacecraft such as AMOS-3 and Globalstar-2.
